Our simulation skins with fibroids, moles and seborrheic keratoses are a tool to teach the essential knowledge of the different removal procedures of these dermal lesions. Each simulator has 6 dermal lesions.
Skin components:
- Outer layer simulating the epidermis
- White spongy layer that simulates the dermis.
- Yellow spongy layer that simulates the hypodermis.
- 3 pedunculated soft fibroids of different shapes and light brown color.

- 1 mole with regular edges, dark brown color.
- 1 mole with irregular edges, dark brown.
Number of uses:
- 3 excisions (fibroids)
- 1 curettage (seborrheic keratosis)
- 2 biopsy techniques (moles)
Procedures:
- Shave excision
- Simple excision with surgical scissors
- Curettage
- Incisional biopsies
- Excisional biopsies
- Incision and suture techniques.
- Handling of instruments
The simulator is made of various high quality materials that represent the different layers of the skin tissue, which makes the practice very realistic. Validated by experts in the field.
