A few days ago, our co-founders Carolina Chávez and Cristian Navarro traveled to the south of Chile to visit several health education institutions in the city of Temuco, where PLAN3D maintains active and collaborative links. This visit was intense and deeply enriching, as it allowed to strengthen ties, perform field demonstrations and share learning with teams committed to quality clinical training.
One of the first encounters was with the team of the Clinical Simulation Center of the Universidad Mayor led by Professor Lidia Villalobos, where we talked about our venipuncture simulator. In addition, we were able to validate in the field its functionality for sampling with Vacutainer sleeve, highlighting its realism and versatility in clinical training with teachers and professionals in the area.
Afterwards, we visited the Health Campus of the Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO), where we were welcomed by the team led by Bárbara Cid at the Surgical Simulation Center, together with professor Marcela Palma. During the day, we performed practical demonstrations of several of our clinical simulators and we were also able to observe how they are currently being used by the institution in their training processes, which generated valuable instances of feedback and joint projection.
The visit continued at the Catholic University of Temuco (UCT), where we were received by Prof. Paola Radedek, a professor at the University of Temuco. Paola Radedek at the Simulation Center, with whom we discussed our product portfolio in relation to the needs of the new simulation center that is about to be inaugurated.
In addition to delivering products to some of these institutions, this visit was an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships with academic and technical teams that share our purpose: to improve healthcare education through realistic, accessible and innovative clinical simulation solutions.
We deeply appreciate the warm reception and the meaningful conversations held with all the teams.
We look forward to returning to southern Chile soon!
