At PLAN3D we continue working to take clinical simulation to another level, and today we want to share with you our latest development: VENIFIT, an arm simulator specially designed for venipuncture practice.
This model was created so that students and healthcare professionals can realistically and safely train blood collection and medication administration before facing real patients. VENIFIT can perform more than 2,400 punctures, more than five times what traditional simulators offer. In addition, it features a hyper-realistic tactile sensation, density changes and blood reflux, which faithfully reproduces the clinical experience.
The validation process of VENIFIT was carried out together with the team of the Simulation Hospital of the Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB), and we recently had the opportunity to present it at the Universal Expo Osaka 2025, within the Chile Pavilion. Undoubtedly, a milestone that fills us with pride and reflects the international reach that innovation developed in our country can have.
Today our simulators are already present in Chilean institutions such as Universidad de Chile and Universidad Andrés Bello, and also in prestigious international universities such as Columbia University (New York), University of South Florida and University of San Diego, in addition to having distributors in Europe.
With VENIFIT we reaffirm our mission: to create simulation tools that transform health education, with design, innovation and realism, always hand in hand with professionals in the area who contribute their knowledge and experience.
This is just one more step in the path we have been building together with those who believe in simulation as a driving force to improve clinical training.
